♟️ Celebrating International Chess Day at RPS International School, Sector-89, Gurugram ♟️
18–19 July 2026 marked a memorable celebration of intellect, strategy, and sportsmanship as RPS International School proudly hosted the 1st Emergers Inter-School Chess Tournament 2026.
The tournament witnessed an overwhelming response, with more than 300 participants from different cities and states across India coming together to compete and showcase their chess skills. Over two exciting days, young players displayed remarkable concentration, analytical thinking, determination, and competitive spirit.
The event was graced by our respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Shiva Yadav, who felicitated the winners and applauded the efforts of all participants. Special appreciation goes to Chess Coach Mr. Lakshay Arora for his dedication, guidance, and outstanding efforts in successfully organizing this prestigious tournament.
The championship provided a wonderful platform for young minds to learn, connect, and grow through the game of chess, making the celebration of International Chess Day truly special.
Heartiest congratulations to all the winners, participants, coaches, parents, and volunteers who contributed to the success of this grand event.

 International Women's Day is an occasion to celebrate the progress made towards achieving gender equality and women's empowerment. This special day was celebrated in RPS International School Sec 89 to recognise the contribution and significance of the women. The celebration began with lamp lighting by our dear Principal Ma'am and grandmothers of our dear students.
