RPS Gurugram 89- School Activity

Parents' Orientation was held on Thursday 28th March, 2019 and Friday 29th March, 2019 at RPS International School Sec 89, Gurugram. The program commenced with a warm welcome to the parents followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The aim was to familiarize the parents with the curriculum, rules and regulations,tie-up with British Council, Japanese and French teaching, importance of Newspaper in Education ,teaching methodologies & the co-scholastic activities. The Orientation program proved to be a sincere effort under the guidance of Dr. Roopa Marwaha Bhalla, Principal of the school and the parents were truly enlightened and appreciated the setup and planning of RPS family for betterment of their children.

Teachers' Orientation was held on Wednesday 27th March, 2019 at RPS International School Sec-89. It was an eye opener of sorts for everyone. The resource person Dr. Roopa Marwaha Bhalla, an eminent educationist & Principal of the School, dwelled upon Effective Teaching, Class room management techniques, Age related activities, Display boards and their optimum use. All the teachers were prepared for the Children’s Orientation at the start of the session and given demonstration on how to welcome & give instructions to children. The workshop also aimed at enhancing the four key skills of learning English viz. listening, speaking, reading & writing from classes Pre-Nursery – IX & XI. The conclave went well & was a great learning experience for all.

RPS International School, Sector 89, Gurugram celebrated the International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm and optimism on March 08, 2019 honoring all teachers and support staff. Er.Manish Rao,CEO of RPSGOS graced the occasion. The School Principal,Dr.Roopa Marwaha Bhalla asked them to feel proud they are women- mother, daughter, officer, doctor and capable of holding every kind of executive role. Celebrating International Women's Day is at the heart of our vision of social justice, excellence and harmony, while building upon our RPS qualities of Curiosity, Collaboration, Discipline, Resilience and Imagination .All were motivated in a small ceremony followed by refreshments.
